After distillation for a period of time, scale will suddenly accumulate in the horizontal flask and on the surface of the heating tube. At this time, cleaning must be carried out, and the frequency of cleaning mainly depends on the hardness of the tap water and the usage time. If the instrument is not cleaned for a long time, it will affect the distillation effect, and in severe cases, it will damage the heating tube and extend the cleaning time.

Cleaning steps:

1. Cut off the power and turn off the tap water.

2. Add 100 milliliters of concentrated hydrochloric acid to a horizontal flask and release hydrochloric acid from the water in the flask. If there is scale buildup, add more hydrochloric acid. After a few minutes, release it from the water level gauge and rinse it several times with tap water. To remove trace amounts of hydrochloric acid, shake the flask back and forth until the dead corners that are not suitable for cleaning are washed clean.

When distilling again, discard the water distilled within the first 10 minutes.

When using a secondary distillation device, attention must be paid to water level control, as the cooled water is discharged directly without passing through the water level gauge. The water level in the flask can only be controlled by the flask and the water level gauge. In any case, the water in the flask cannot be completely drained, so the flask volume should not be less than 20 liters (i.e. the distillation amount for more than 4 hours). Otherwise, water should be added frequently during distillation to avoid water shortage and instrument damage.

Its basic structural form is the same as that of Type A pure water distiller, and the purity of distilled water is further improved. During the initial distillation, the primary distiller starts first, and the distilled water flows into the secondary distillation bottle. 4Installation:

After unboxing the instrument, take out the condenser tube, disinfect it, and insert it into the outlet of the distilled water on the grinding mouth of the horizontal flask (facing forward). Place the other end of the rubber tube on the top of the water level gauge on the outlet of the condenser tube, and place the short rubber tube on the outlet of the water level gauge. However, be sure to keep the pipeline clear and not exceed the horizontal line at the outlet to avoid affecting the water level inside the distillation flask. The rubber tube is now placed on the lower inlet of the condenser tube and connected to the water source. The tap water is from the cooling tube and water level gauge to the horizontal flask, and its water level is controlled by the water level gauge. The cooling water route is self flowing, entering the lower inlet of the secondary cooling tube and flowing into the primary cooling tube through the upper outlet. The lower inlet of the pipe flows into the water level gauge through the upper outlet. During the initial distillation, the power is turned on and the first distillation begins first, The distilled water flows into the secondary distillation bottle, and after the water level reaches the desired height (about 1 hour), the secondary power plug is plugged in, and the secondary distillation begins. The purity of the distilled water is further improved, with an hourly output of about 2000-2500 milliliters.
